MINISTRY TEAMS
The N.O.W model is based on the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. It lifts up the importance of nurturing church members to become faithful disciples that God is calling them to be. It stresses the importance of reaching out with acts of compassion to persons in need, plus advocating on behalf of justice and righteousness. It proclaims the importance of sharing the Christian faith through word and deed with those who have no faith. It stresses the importance of being good stewards of God's word.*

OUTREACH
This ministry team addresses the physical needs of the congregation and our neighbors - be they next door, across town, across the country or around the world. One of the most important outreach ministries is the church Food Closet. Open Tuesday - Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., this volunteer-staffed program reaches 7,000 people per year, providing Christian literature in addition to some 42,000 meals. The ministry team is also the church's link to worldwide mission programs and the Angel Tree prison outreach, and coordinates our holiday food basket program.

WITNESS
This ministry team encourages the congregation to share the Good News of Christ's love with those who have not yet received the message. This is achieved through several programs, including an annual spiritual renewal event. The committee also coordinates a monthly church newsletter, church web page, the Reaching Our Neighbor program, and Walk to Emmaus.
